failures, nor the message itself have appeared, here we go again.

We recently acquired DEC's GKS for VAX/VMS. Unfortunately, it did not include
a handler for the LXY printer/plotter we had bought from them earlier.
While I can create LA50 sixel files and convert them, we need a better
solution. Does anyone have a GKS handler for this critter or pointers for
writing one? The handler source for any similarly unintelligent dot matrix
device would be useful, too.
(The LXY is DEC's repackaging of the Printronix 300, software compatible).
