I've asked this question to our own field service and they've asked DEC field service about an old problem with the `infamous' "SDI" Error, Sequence number reset, operation continuing Drive error, "Receiver Ready Collision" Nobody local seems to know what's causing this. We've been experiencing this problem for at least a year and a half. It's not fatal but it's annoying to say the least. One guess is that either the HSC requestor cards are out of rev. or that the personality module in the RA81's are out of rev. During advanced Q&A at Nashville DECUS I asked this question but I didn't get all the information I needed.
