[comp.os.vms] GNU EMACS MANUAL: does a vms version exist?

RICH@uwovax.UWO.CDN (rich jones) (11/02/87)

We are installing GNU emacs version 18.47.3 on our vax cluster
running VMS 4.5. The GNU emacs manual included with this version is
oriented towards UNIX systems. The Preface mentions that a VMS version
may appear in the future. Has a VAX/VMS version of this manual been
written? If so, where can i get a copy? If not, has someone written
one for their local site and are they willing to send me a copy?

Finally, has anyone modified the lisp library routines so that
emacs commands such as M-x print-buffer will work under VMS? Could
you please send me a copy of these?

Please respond by e-mail to me directly. Thanks in advance.....rich
