I have a VAX 8650 with a DELUA, an 11/785 with a DEUNA and an 8250 with a DEBNT all running VMS V4.5. We have 61 terminal servers on the ethernet and recently added one more terminal server to the decserver database. I was using DSVCONFIG.COM to add the terminal server and once it had copied the tmp files around, the timeout message appeared and the session was disconnected The add went fine for the 11/785 and 8250 but the 8650 disconnected ALMOST all of the processes that were connected via the terminal servers. We have experienced something similar when the CONNECT NODE command was used from NCP to connect to the remote console port of the terminal servers. Has something similar been experienced by other sites and has a workaround been found other than not using the system to do server management? The DELUA has been replaced once.
