Hi all.....
I am going to be writing a simulator that requires multiple
processes that need to comunicate, some synchronously, some asynch.
I need to know if VMS mailboxes allow both types of behavior.
and any pointers to any other ways to communicate would be GREATLY
appreciated.
The reason for the need for synch. and asynch. communication is
that some processes are dependent on other processes job, while
others need to be able to wait around until any one of several processes
sends it something. This is all needed without any privs except
tempmailbox and netmailbox privs. (that's all they give us lowly
student here)
