BOLEF%ALBEDO@ames-io.ARPA (11/17/87)
I've gotten three messages saying it is inappropriate to put job announcements on info-vax. In an attempt to forstall a flood of further admonitions, let me ** FORMALLY APOLOGIZE ** for putting on said job announcement. In my defense: I subscribed to info-vax this summer. This is the only list I'm on. After I subscribed, I started getting mail immediately. I never got any set of ground rules to follow or no-no's to avoid. Maybe it would be helpful to post the rules, or a pointer to them, from time to time? I'm told that there is an Arpa (or uucp) job announcement list. Could some kind soul put my job message on such list(s).
