[net.dcom] anyone using STATS output from Gandalf PACX?

henry@utzoo.UUCP (Henry Spencer) (03/13/85)

Attention PACX users:

I'm looking for PACX users out there who use computers to process
STATS output from a PACXIV data switch.

I'd like to know the kinds of things you do with the STATS data
(e.g. call tracing, "interesting" event recording, etc.).
How do you feel about the STATS format? Could it be improved?

I have a similar query, except for Tellabs switches.

BRL users a program called PACXMON on 4.2 BSD, it gets the speed and
the line number from it and then sets the parameters and takes care
of the TERM variable and setting the "where" part of the utmp field.

I would also like to hear from anyone who has done the same with the Infotron
4000/4002 switches.
