Our Economics faculty are trying to install a data set developed by the International Monetary Fund on world economic conditions. The original data file was developed on IBM mainframes in a compressed format with COBOL programs to decompress the file and organize the info. We are having some difficulties adapting it to VAX/VMS and need to talk with folks at another site who have it running successfully. The IMF claims that others have installed it, but can't give us names of VMS sites with it, nor can they help us with the installation problems. Please contact me directly if you have this data set up on your VAX and are willing to help us with some advice. Please contact me, instead of INFO-VAX, since this is really a specialized topic that will undoubtedly bore most of the system hackers. Thanks... =================================================================== Leo D.
