Hi All, We are preparing to interface some one or more data acquisition units to DRQ3B(s) on our VAX station II GPX. We have the Labstar software and with it the DRQ3B driver. I have read the Labstar sections describing DMA and using the DRQ3B and I am also digesting the DRQ3B manual. There seems to be features of the DRQ3B mentioned in it's manual that are not covered by the options presented in the Labstar manual. For instance: using function bits, memory to memory transfers. Also, it is unclear when the Labstar driver will use Chain loading and if it can do Base-to-Current reloading. I would guess that Chain loading will occur if one were to ENQUE several buffers to the driver but the Labstar manual does not say for sure. Anyone out there know more about this beast?
