I am writing a compiler (of sorts) using "lex" and "yacc" on a UNIX box
running System V. "Lex" and "yacc" both generate C source code as output
which has specific function calls -- with UNIX, those calls are
stored within a lex and yacc library so there are no problems compiling the
code.
However...
I plan on moving the generated source code to a microVAX running under VMS.
The problem is there are no "yacc" and "lex" function libraries under VMS;
I contacted DEC and their response was "You want to do *what*?"
Right now it looks as though I am either going to have to write each and
every one of the function calls myself, or (here's where it gets good)
find someone else in NetLand who has already done something like this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
