[comp.os.vms] Daddy?...Daddy?

E7OPDAN@TOWSONVX.BITNET (Dan Dinkin) (12/21/87)

HEEEEEEEEEELP!!

Ever since I've begun routing things through the INTERBIT (with Gmail)
and, of course, since WISCVM went by the wayside, things have been going
screwy around here. I seem to be getting most things from INFO-VAX
but I have sent out two or three things myself and I haven't received
them from the list. Also, I responded to someone else's request (I
no longer remember who it was) for the MFTU source code, but I have no idea
if he ever received it because I have gotten no response from him.

WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!?!?!?!?!?!

Yours in isolation,

Because of a strange message I just received, I am submitting this to the
list a second time. If that was unnecessary and you are reading this for
the second time, I apologize.

ivax1@ALMSA-1.ARPA (Will Martin) (01/06/88)

Just thrashing thru the Info-VAX accumulation myself, and I thought you'd
like to know that these same problems exist over here on the ARPA/MILNET
with this mailing list. I, too, appear to have gotten a continuous flow
of traffic from the list, but never saw items I sent in come back to me
via the list. Also, I take all those "undeliverable" and "reject" type
messages and put them in other files, running edits to throw away all the
added-on header info, and I find that a reasonable percentage of them
(maybe 10-20%), contain postings that never came in "straight" (that is,
unrejected and not enclosed in a reject message) on the regular mailing
list. Really strange!

Regards, Will Martin
