A local firm would like to donate some equipment to our Campus, and I'm the one
 put in charge of finding out what it is and what to do with it.  The basic equ
ipment is a Control Data - Cyber 18 mini with additional hardware to do CAD.
     
This additional hardware consists of:

                   1 Disk Drive
                   2 Magnetic Tape Drives
                   1 Magnetic Tape
                   1 Console Display
                  12 Disk cartridges

                     DEC VAX Unibus Interface
                     64K x 32 bit High Density Memory
                   2 16K x 32 bit Fast MOS Memory
                     Model-4 I/O Scroll
                     Aux power supply
     
                   2 Lundy 2600 Hypergrap units each with
                        16K Refresh Memory
                         8K Buffer Memory
     
SOFTWARE
                     MAP-300 SNAP-II Software System
                     MAP-Development Software
                     I/O Scroll support software
                     MAP Tent Console w/ paper tape reader
                     Programmers monitor panel
                     MAP maintenance Extender CHassis
                     DEC VAX VMS driver and host Software interface
                     Extended Array Function Library
     
     
If anyone out there has USED, KNOWS ABOUT, HAVE HEARD of THIS EQUIPMENT, please

hey don't have the manuals for either the CYBER 18  or  the Lundy equipment (wh
ere have you heard that before).  They think they can get me manuals for the Cy
ber, though.
     
Please include any feelings about reputation of companies, support, etc!
     
   PLEASE RESPOND QUICKLY IF YOU HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THIS EQUIPMENT !!!
     
   I have to figure this out in a hurry, and don't know where to begin.
