VMS 4.7 has been shipping since jan 1st, We got it 3 days ago and I have
put it up on our LAVC with no problems. It fixes a number of LATSYM
bugs and also fixes a DHU-11 hanging terminal bug. The Kit consists
patches and a few replaced images. Contrary to what all the press has been
saying, VMS 4.7 does not symetric multiprocessing. (How they could have
believed that is beyond me seeing that SMP involves major changes to the
executive.)
Putting it up is easy.. No products need to be reinstalled except for
the LAVC and Volume Shadowing Keys. (they supplied new encripted
versions of those drivers)
