[comp.os.vms] LPS 40 Font Caching

LUSGR@VAX1.CC.LEHIGH.EDU (STEVE ROSEMAN) (01/14/88)

We have an LPS 40 printer, used mainly for SCRIBE-generated PostScript and
standard ANSI output.

Does anyone have an suggestions about the use of the 'setidlefonts' font
conversion/caching. Is there an easy way to figure out what to cache,
what kind of performance improvements are available, etc.

Thanks for any comments or suggestions.
