To All Info-Vax, I have a question on system shareable libraries. We have an image that requires the use of sys$library:dismntshr.exe. Yesterday, when trying to execute the image, the following error message was returned: $ run vista %DCL-W-ACTIMAGE, error activating image DISMNTSHR -CLI-E-IMGNAME, image file DUA0:[SYS0.][SYSLIB]DISMNTSHR.EXE -SYTEM-F-SECTBLFUL, section table (process/global) is full According to the error message manual, this is saying that there is insufficient global sections available for DISMNTSHR.EXE. What I don't understand is that DISMNTSHR is installed: $ run sys$system:install INSTALL> list sys$library:dismntshr DISK$DU0VMS4:<SYS0.SYSLIB>.EXE DISMNTSHR;1 Open Hdr Shar Prot Lnkbl Nopurg If installed shared, why does it need more sections? I am not understanding the process here. Could somebody elaborate or at least point to the right manualsabout such things? Thanks for your time, Jonathan Eisenhamer UCLA Astronomy jon@uclastro.bitnet bonnie::jon (span 5828) -------
