I am about to post the VERB utility. It decompiles DCLTABLES into .CLD files. I am doing so after numerous requests to send individual copies. It is in four parts, but each part isn't more than 31 blocks long, which means the whole thing is only about 60k. I hope that this is of use to people, and I hope that I'm not wasting bandwidth posting this utility. BTW, I didn't write it, I have only used it. It is written in MACRO, so I CAN'T answer any but the most basic operational questions about the program. The distribiution includes a README_FIRST.TXT file that tells how to operate this animal. It also includes a description of the CLI tables that 4.x uses. Unfortunately, the README file is in PART 4 of the distribution. Sorry about that, but I'm new to VMS_SHAR, as this is my first posting using this WONDERFUL utility (no fuss, no mess, and fairly quick), so I don't yet know how to place certain files in certain parts of the distribution. Look for this in a mailbox near you soon. It was on a 1985 (not 1986 as I had said eariler) DECUS tape. No, I don't know which one, since I got it over a year ago in a bulk DECUS software grab (how many DECUS tapes can YOU fit on one TK-50? :-) THIS IS NOT THE DISTRIBUTION, it is following. -- bitnet: losh@nmt.csnet M.
