Due to the great interest in a free VMS Makefile utility
in this list, I am posting a copy of one that was written by a student
here at our site. This implementation is a complete version and
solidly documented. The only bug discovered so far is that it
currently does not support usernames with more than 7 characters.
(the reason is that it uses the username in the subprocess name that it
creates.)
Note: The student who wrote this utility is no longer at our site so
support is at best limited. If anyone improves on it, we would be
most appreciative if they sent their updates to us.
The distribution is in 8 parts.
