Is their someone who has a reasonable explication for the following:
When we print a file with the command
$ PRINT /noflag/noburst/header /queue=.... /form=....
then on some printers the header line is not printed on the first page of the
job. Other printers print the header line on all pages. It seems that it has
something to do with SETUP and/or RESET modules specified for the queue and the
form.
We know that there are more inexplicable "features" in the print symbiont. E.g.
one has to have a formfeed in the setup module to prevent ejection of a blank
page.
