I have installed the DEPCA Board (Digital Ethernet contoller for IBM PC) in an IBM PC-XT compatible (Supra 88 XT) with an IBM Enhanced PC Keyboard. SETHOST, Network File Transfert, Mail ... all seem's to work fine but... the terminal emulator of SETHOST use the IBM Numlock key as PF1. So if I use the EDT editor, every time I press the PF1 (GOLD) key, Numlock state goes from state OFF to ON or from ON to OFF depending of his previous state. Going in Numlock state OFF make all cursor and numeric keys to be no more usable with EDT. Of course I may press twice the PF1 key but that's not a very elegant solution. So my first question: Is it possible (either from VMS side or from DOS side) to always keep Numlock set to ON ? Secondly, when I go back from SETHOST to DOS, the cursor keys are no more usable with DOS (left arrow becomes 4, up arrows: 8 and so on). Is it a way to come back to previous DOS key definitions ? In order to keep Info-VAX traffic so low as possible :=) and avoid double messages, send your responses directly to me. I will summarize to the net in a couple of days. If you respond to me and if you also have the DECTBI interface (Digital Equipment Chocolate Transfer Board Interface) I will mail you some of our swiss specialities :=) Claude WACKER University of Neuchatel, Switzerland Bitnet: CCWACKER@CNEDCU51 Hepnet/Span/Chadnet: 20595::CCWACKER
