Hello! I've got some trouble with a VAX 8250 running VMS-4.5. Caused to unknown circumstances, a terminal-related process becames the status RWAST (Resource Wait for Asynchronous System Trap or anything like this). No CTRL-Y or CTRL-Z could interrupt the process. Although CTRL-T didn't work. When the system-administrator tries to stop the process via STOP/ID=<id-number> the process still appears on a SH SYS output. But if man tried to STOP it again, you get NON EXISTENT PROCESS. Now my questions are: - How could one prevent a process to become RWAST and - How could one cancel a process wich becomes RWAST ? (we had to do a reboot, to be able to use the terminal again). Thanks in advance.....
