Does anyone have or know where I can get a vms driver for the Unibus Ethernet borad made by Interlan : Type BD-NI-1010A ? We want to run Ethernet to Sun stations; the price of the boards was right, but I wonder if the price for the software will be as good ! We run VMS 4.3 on two /750's.

Does anyone have a current phone number or address for Interlan Inc. ? The address I have is in Chelmsford, MA, and the operator does not have a listing for them there. We are looking for the vms driver for NI1010 Unibus Ethernet boards; we want to use with our CMU TCP/IP software to talk to a SUN. Does anyone have any experiences with this hardware/software ? Interlan cards were handled by Lanpar out of Toronto, we bought several cards a fe years ago. I found though that repairs would take six months (or more), they would ship cards halfway around the world, loose them find them, loose them again. I think you would be better off contacting the US parent company directly, since there is no software expertise to mention at the Canadian distributor. Thank you ! Thank you ! Thank you ! Many thanks to the many who replied to the request that I posted to Info-Vax a short time ago, requesting information about Interlan NI1010 Ethernet Boards. I received both information and (good) advice. I contacted MICOM-Interlan, who now own Interlan, and found that the software for the NI1010 board is no longer supported, and may not work with future releases of VMS. The software is $75, by the way, and the address of the company is Micom-Interlan Inc. 155 Swanson Road, Boxborough, MA 10719 Phone 1-800-LAN-TALK or 1-617-263-9929 So I have tracked down a used DEUNA board set, and will go the more conventional DEC way.
