Let's dive back into the world of Wollongong and their WIN/TCP product... I recall many discussions going back and forth about forwarding mail from one VMS account out to the Mailer, and the ultime answer was "no can do". I just had a short discussion with a Wollongong representative, and he mentioned that version 3.2 (shipping in April, or thereabouts) would FINALLY be using the VMS Foreign Mail Protocol interface! Three cheers! I don't know if that new release will fix the problems I've encountered with messages getting stuck together and getting sent to the wrong recipients, however. (We fix the problem at our site by changing Mailer.com to only ONE new mail message, rather than ALL of them.)
