Hi there, I'm trying to get a PD program, that was written in C for a UNIX BSD system, to run on our VMS 4.3 system. I'm wondering if any of you out there, may have encountered the same problems I have. There are three .h system library files that exist on unix, but obviously, not on vms: times.h (mainly the tms_utime & tms_stime variables which respectively obtain the user and system times), pwd.h (the char *pw_name to obtain the name of the person from the given UID), and ioctl.h (this is an extensive terminal io control file, but needed for the vt family of terminals). If any of you vms'ers have defined your own versions of the above files (and are willing to share), or know where I may obtain these, or just have any pointers for this struggling new system manager, all will be greatly appreciated. Thanx! -- Tim Purdy *:^) Arpa: purdy%skat.usc.edu@usc-oberon.arpa Uucp: ihnp4!sdcrdcf!usc-oberon!skat!purdy
