I know that this has been posted in various forms several times over, but I haven't seen posted an answer from anyone. We are currently running VMS on two VAXen (a 750 and MicroVAX II). What I would like to get would be: 1. Software to send/receive to usenet via the UUCP g protocol 2. News software which would execute under VMS and would allow the news to be read in a similar manner to the "rn" command under UNIX. 3. An interface which would allow me to send/receive mail to Usenet via VMS mail (like the server at node decwrl). We don't wish to purchase any type of UNIX interface of any kind for the VMS machines (like unice) if it can be avoided. Getting any machine here to run UNIX is completely out of the question right now. I am searching for net software like above that will run under VMS as-is. Also note that we are willing to *PAY* for a commercial product provided it works as specified above, and is available at a reasonable price (that my bosses will find reasonable, that is...). I would appreciate any help from the net that I can get on this. Please mail replies personally and I will post a summary to the net in about 2 weeks.
