We have been trying to use the shared ethernet driver (XQ driver) on a microVax running VMS4.6. We've been able to send out packets but there seems to be something strange about the way we've setup the driver because they all go out with source address -1 and type field 0 (whereas we'd like them to go out with the machine's real address and the type field to which we set the NMC$C_PCLI_PTY parameter with IO$_SETMODE). I've looked over all the driver documentation and can't find any other relevant parameters to set. I've looked at the fiche, but we only have up to V4.4 which only has the XE driver. Therefore I'm turning to the net... Has anyone out there been successful in using the XQ driver? If so, could you send me sample code showing which the parameters you had to set up?
