We have a number of users on our VAX 8600 and VAX 8700 VMS systems for whom we want to provide the ability to view their TeX .DVI files on a terminal so they do not have to print the file each time they want to review it. We do not want to buy individual workstations for each of these users. Presently we are providing the users who need this ability with Talaris 7800 terminals and the PRETEXT utility from Talaris that formats .DVI output for display on those terminals. Does anyone out there use any other mechanism (not including the DVItoVDU utility provided on the TeX distribution tape) for previewing TeX output on your VMS system?
