Does anybody on the net have or know of software to support XNS
	on Unix 4.2BSD ?

If so, please write a response to this note or send mail to me.

	Thanx.

My understanding is that an XNS implementation will be included as part of
4.3BSD. The low levels (through SPP) of that implementation were done
by Keith Sklower <sklower@berkeley.arpa> based to some extent on a similar
implementation by the U. of Maryland; it is, of course, integrated into
the socket mechanism, and supports SPP, raw IDP, plus the XNS error and
routing protocols. High levels of XNS support, including a Courier compiler,
client applications for Printing, GAP (telnet), and Filing (FTP), and
a GAP server are from Cornell U. <jqj@cornell.arpa>. Interpress support
for ditroff is available from Xerox (contact DMurray.wbst@xerox.arpa for
information, I guess).

If you can't wait for 4.3BSD and are willing to do a lot of kernel hacking
to install the millions of fixes needed, you can get a slightly incompatible
implementation from Maryland (contact Mark Weiser <mark@maryland.arpa>).
