Hello, I would like some information on interactive terminal session logging utilities. I have a VAX 11/785 at VMS 4.7 with Decserver 200's (using Decnet) and a mix of VT100, VT200 and VT340 terminals. This is an academic environment with serveral languages, DEC- Pascal, Fortran, Cobol, C and Third party- Modula2 and Minitab. The users would like something that can be turned on and off from a command procedure and all that is required is logging of an individual user session. The faculty want to build this into the command procedures for compiling, linking and running programs. I am interested in any product that meets these requirements. We have been using PHOTO from Precision Businesss Systems but have encountered numerous system problems with interaction between this product and terminal drivers, and VMS 4.7 may have something to do with it. Has anyone else had any problems with this software? Any fixes? Set host/log can't be used in a command procedure but some users may accept this alternative. I was able to get the PHOTO package from LISTSERV@UBVM and the documentation says that I need Kevin Carosso's pseudoterminal driver, PYDRIVER.EXE and PTDRIVER.EXE from anonymous FTP from OBERON.USC.EDU. But I don't know how to get there from BITNET, any suggestions? or can someone send it to me? Does anyone have any experience with this product? Will it cause problems with Decservers? Thanks.
