Some time ago I wrote a DCL command procedure which, when submitted to run as a batch job, would sit there and answer your VaxMail. It's nothing fancy, i.e. it doesn't know WHO it's replying to (just knows there's a message there to be replied to), and sends out only a form letter hard-coded into the pro- cedure itself. But from what I've seen, there are people here who could hack it into something even more impressive. I won't waste net bandwidth posting it now, "out of the blue," but I hereby solicit responses from anyone interested; if there's enough interest I will post it. It's fairly short, and please don't waste typing energy saying "who'd want a program to do THAT?" It started out as a "novelty," and I consider it such.
