$ SET HOST 0/LOG=LOGFILE

To use this the network must be started, but you can start the network on
a single node without a DECNET License.

It is NOT required that you have DECnet to do this. Any VMS system can do
it IF you do a startnet first. The DECnet license is only required if you
wish to connect to another system. (Any SET CIRCUIT commands will fail without
the DECnet key.)
