[comp.os.vms] VMS Accounting Packages

BJ@OREGON.UOREGON.EDU (Bob Jones) (05/12/88)

Does anyone have any ideas/recommendations/warnings about any commercially
available VMS accounting packages? We are currently using some home-grown
stuff on our soon-to-disappear DEC-10 and would like to move the work to our
VAX 8800 or our soon-to-arrive 6230. We also have an IBM 4341 whose accounting
records are currently being processed by the DEC-10 software - it should stay
around long enough that we would like to be able to process its accounting
records with the package we acquire (but it isn't mandatory). We are most
strongly considering Quantum-RS, PACS PLUS, and Overseer, though I would be
interested in hearing about pretty much anything. We hope to decide within a
few weeks, so please lemme know soon. Thanks. - bj

Forgive me if you have already seen this but I've seen no evidence of my first
message's having made it onto here.
