(Sorry if you're seeing this twice. I don't think it got out the first time)

Hi all,

We recently tried to upgrade one of our 11/780's to VMS 4.6 from 4.5, but
we ran into a problem:

We have two DMF-32's, which we use for terminal ports and the Sync ports.
At System startup, the Sync ports are supposed to be configure, two on each
DMF-32. For some reason, however, only the first of the four ports gets
configured. We have tried everything, even changing the device names, but
it just can't find the other ports. Has anyone else run into this problem?

The driver we're trying to use is CONINTERR (for HASP). We also have
several Emulex boards, which are used for terminal ports.

   Any information would be appreciated.

                              Thanks,
                                 Ted Corning

The definitions for SYS$GETJPI, for example can be found in module
STARDEFFL in STARLETSD.TLB. You have to extract this module from the
library and use SDL to make a definition file.

BTW: STARDEFFL means STARlet DEFinitions from F to L, so JPI$... is
in this range.
