Is there a general method for telling what utility wrote a file, assuming we are talking about DEC or commercial utilities, not home grown things? Neither DUMP nor ANALYZE/RMS are satisfactory. Peter Scott (pjs%grouch@jpl-mil.jpl.nasa.gov)
