Thanks to all of you who sent me letters on the difference between "stop" (pausing) a queue and "stop" (stopping) a queue. I normally feel i can trust the command name to do what it seems to be saying it is doing, but this is certainly not such an example. (Help Stop/Queue seems to say it does what you think it should do) I really appreciate the help. I only got about 25 letters, so i guess this is one of those things like ("how do i synch my mail count?") For those who want this paraphrased: (from info in these letters) Stop/Queue - Pauses a queue Stop/Queue/Next - Stops the queue after the current job finishes Stop/Queue/Abort - Pauses the queue, but aborts the current job Stop/Queue/Reset - Combines /NEXT and /ABORT to stop the queue immediately.
