*** The Sales department here is talking about seting up offices in a number of cities which has brought up a number of questions most of which I do not have to deal with. But one on the things that will be required is a system in each office in commumcation with this site, that I do have to do something about. We will be transfering mail and at least some news to each of two sites to start more later. Now for the question: Two methods present themself first the 9600 baud modem from DCA here in Atlanta (I have I think enought info on that system) then there is X.25. What are the costs for seting up a link to a X.25 net like GET's or one of there commpetors and how do the charges work. Does anyone in the US use X.25 for news or mail xfer and how well does it work. What is X.75 (reference to inter-network links) and should I take the time to look at it. Would some kind soul mail me (or post if my lack of information is more wide spread than I think) some of the details on X.25. I know that europe uses X.25 a lot is the lack of use in this country due to some reason or just random action of the suppliers. Thanks. -- Philip Dalrymple akgua!pid!pwd 404/429-8266 (voice)
