Hello world, "A friend of mine has a problem" - really! They have an application which lives on one half of a VAXcluster. The application has several programs which intercommunicate by using a shareable image (created with LINK/SHARE not SYS$CRMPSC, I think I've got that right!) Not the problem is, they want to increase the refresh rate at which VMS updates the disk file of the shareable image. Something of the order of 30 seconds is needed. When you use SYS$CRMPSC it lets you specify this refresh rate but how do you specify this when you've used LINK/SHARE?? Advthanksance. Eoin Meehan.
