In his comments on changing network addresses, Paul Clayton recommends making SCSSYSTEMID equal to the DECnet node address. This has always been the recommended practice, but under V5.0 it becomes MANDITORY. As a part of this change, the command procedures for creating clusters has been modified to calculate the SCSSYSTEMID for you. Just enter the DECnet address and CLUSTER_CONFIG goes from there. R.
