Any easy way to get the time on any terminal whenever you want it is to type CONTROL/T as required. That way you don't waste line(s) of limited screen space. CONTROL/T has the advantage of working on any terminal. Some of the more modern VT200/300 inexpensive terminal emulations even have 'pop-up' clocks and calculators as standard terminal features! On VAXstations,etc the windowing software demo progs include a 'BANNER' program to give you a continuously running clock/system status/news/ other fancy things display. I thought people might be interested in those 'clocks' which are available without extra effort. John
