Subj: SCSSYSTEMID and V5
In his comments on changing network addresses, Paul Clayton
recommends making SCSSYSTEMID equal to the DECnet node
address. This has always been the recommended practice, but
under V5.0 it becomes MANDITORY.
We are back at V4.4 and the recommendation for
SCSSYSTEMID = (1024*<DECnet area> + DECnet node number).
I believe this is what Mr. Oberman is referring to instead of being equal
to the DECnet node address.
