We are looking for a VAX-based calender program for general use by our computer center. A few weeks ago I notice a DECUS tape description with a calander program, but failed to note which tape it was on. If you know of the tape and program name, or have some other ideas for calendering, I would appreciate it. I will summarize the responses on the board. +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | John Pritchard Computer Center | | Administrative Programmer/Analyst Carleton College | | 1 North College Street | | Northfield, MN 55057 | | jpritcha@carleton.edu U. John, A firend of mine wrote an extreemly functional calendar utility for the VAX. It requires v4.2 of VMS or greater, using many smg$ routines for the interactive side. (It also has a command mode which I suggested for quick access to data.) He did submit it to the DECUS library, and it should be listed as VCU (VAX Calendar Utility). His network address is MIKE@BCVMS, or you can write back to me. If you have some sort of BITNET conection, he will send you a copy, if not I think he has some encoded version for you.... good luck -------
