A colleague who has an RA60 drive just told me that they have had hardware failures on 3 occasions that renders the removable pack useless, as it destroys the formatting somehow. DEC has told them there is nothing that can be done to reformat it. Can this be true? Isn't there a field service diagnostic that can do the job? ************************************************* John H.
