Does anyone have a ( command ) procedure which can read the permanent network database information and create a command procedure to recreate the permanent database? Most packages now include fancy command procedures to configure and set up the permanent database and so there is, in many cases, no need to issue the NCP DEFINE commands directly. However, it is also easy with those same procedures to PURGE ( perhaps unwittingly ) the information from the permanent database : hence the need to recreate it easily. Something which does NCP LIST on everything and then creates the appropriate NCP DEFINE commands would do. John
