I'm looking for a Centronics parallel to RS-232 protocol converter,
(with or without a buffer) for a decent price. Does anyone have
any recommendations? I glanced through a recent Byte, and those that
existed in mail order ads were all $150+, a price I find hard to fathom
for what I naively regard as a simple bit of hardware.
[The Byte in question was the one with the do-it-yourself converter, but,
alas, I'm strictly a software type. (The author's estimate of parts there
was $35. BTW, if anyone in the Denver area is interested in a little money...
let me know.)]

Hello, My name is Bevan Ting. I'm from Sydney, Australia. I know I should have mail to you directly, but somehow I have trouble mailing it. Anyway, if you go out and buy any copy of A+ magazine, you'll find that there's a lot of Parallel-Serial cables that you can buy for less than $100. I hope this helps. Regards, Bevan Ting
