I am writing in support of javier's idea of net.nlang.spanish. For those of us, who have lived in Central and South America and Spain, this would offer us the opportunity to keep in touch with the culture and events in these areas. I suggest that the newsgroup be monitored initially. This is because of all the events relating to Nicaraugua there could be some obnoxious flaming that would hog up a lot of space and time.
