Has anyone tried running WIN/TCP v3.2 with VMS v5.0???? Any problems?

Wollongong told me about a week ago that WIN/TCP V3.2 (and also their
Eunice product; we run both) will NOT work with VMS V5.0. They
expect to have a version ready for 5.0 "about October" (this is what
they said), which probably means December. Aaaaggh!

According to Wollongong technical support it WON'T WORK. However, a new
release is being prepared and seeing as V5.0 has only just been released
in Australia (it's a long way down here !) it hasn't affected us yet.

Don't even try. Due to the new modular kernal in V5.0, the Wollongong scheme
of loading a UNIX kernal into a big chunk of system space won't work in
V5. Wollongong was a V5.0 Field Test site and have been working on the problem
for some time. The last time I contacted them they were promising a V5
compatible version no later than October with hopes to make it much sooner.
