   Now, I'm not quite sure exactly what *was* going on down there.  (We're
'way up here in the great white north.)  Perhaps the front line telephone
filters were a bit too efficient.  Whatever, it doesn't matter now.  The system
is stable, and we can get on with investigating functionality problems.

   My thanks to all who mailed sympathy cards and who suggested alternative
s/w.  Having started the process of looking at other solutions, we will likely 
follow this through.

   Finally, THANKYOU to Jeffrey Busma who got us out of this one with intact
skin.  Brent.
