[comp.os.vms] New version of GNUPLOT posted and available for FTP access.

canoaf@ntvax.uucp (Augustine Cano) (09/06/89)

A new version of GNUPLOT is now available. It may be posted to
comp.sources.misc (if the moderator approves) but it is immediately
available for FTP access from dept.csci.unt.edu (129.120.1.2) in /pub.
The files to get are gnuplot.shar.[1-7].Z (Set FTP for binary file transfers.)

GNUPLOT is also being posted to comp.sys.att. Those without FTP access who
do not want to wait for its appearance in comp.sources.misc might consider
temporarily subscribing to comp.sys.att. Please do not e-mail individual
requests.

This is a variant of version 1.10 gnuplot and not a new "official" gnu
release. The variant has been labeled 1.10A (Polar). It supports polar
coordinates, has a better IBM-PC interface using Turbo-C, a new help system,
more devices and other improvements.

Note that only UNIX shar files are provided at this time (no ARC or
VMS-SHARE for PC or VMS users.)
