How can I turn off the key-click on a LK250 keyboard? If you would like some background, here goes: We have a bunch of PC-"clowns" with LK250 Digital PC key-boards. All these PCs are hooked up via ThinWire net (running PCSA v3.0) to a VAXCluster (a MicroVAX 3800 and a few VAXstation 3100s.) The "SETHOST" command offered by PCSA allows you to turn the keyclick off, but in order for it to take effect, you have to invoke it. There has to be a simpler way to do this directly. Ideally, I would like to write a simple standalone PC program (preferably C) to turn the keyclick off, but I have no idea what "SETHOST" does to control the keyboard (I don't have any manuals, and I can't get hold of any LK250 docs for love or money.) I would appreciate ANY help. Thanks in advance. Rao Akella, Research Asst., University of Minnesota, Minneapolis BITNET: cccsrao@umnhsnve InterNet: hvm6034@ux.acss.umn.edu
