For a long time, I have been a lover of UNIX. However, my organization is about to have a whole bunch of DEC hardware and software laid on it, and as one of the software packages will be All-In-One, I'm going to be stuck with VMS. I don't mind it so much, I see it as a chance to learn, but... I need to grab a broad overview of the low end of the VAX line and software available for it, and quickly, so I know more of what I'm talking about with these DEC guys. I'm also going to need a guide to VMS for UNIX lovers, if any such exists. What traps should I look out for? What should I avoid, what should I ask for? Any help folks here can offer, I'd appreciate greatly.
