[comp.os.vms] DECUS Tapes Available for Anonymous FTP

chris@wuarchive.wustl.edu (Chris Myers) (09/07/90)

The Digital Equipment Computer Users' Society and Washington University
in Saint Louis are proud to announce the availability of recent DECUS
Symposia Tapes for access over the Internet. Special thanks to VAX SIG
Librarian Glenn Everhart and L&T SIG Librarian Ted Nieland for their
invaluable assistance in making the project possible.

Currently, the Fall 1989 and Spring 1990 VAX and L&T Symposia tapes are
available for anonymous FTP from wuarchive.wustl.edu [128.252.135.4].
All of the Symposia tapes are stored in the directory "decus". Please
retrieve the file 'COPYING' first since it contains important
instructions for copying the various BACKUP savesets.

Washington University regrets that under no circumstances can it
provide copies of the DECUS Symposia Tapes on any form of media, nor
can it honor requests for individual files from the Symposia tapes.

Questions about the Washington University archives (only) should be
e-mailed to archives@wugate.wustl.edu.

The approximate size of each of the Symposia tapes is shown below, in
kilobytes (1 kilobyte is 2 disk blocks):
